The 2025 Women’s African Volleyball Club Championship reached an exciting peak on Day 2, as Nigeria’s CNS (Chief Naval Spikers) secured a commanding 3-0 victory over Botswana’s SSV.
The Nigerian team displayed outstanding skill and teamwork, winning the match with scores of 25-22, 25-21, and 25-08, dominating in every set.
In another intense Pool C clash, Egypt’s Ahlaly triumphed over Senegal’s SOC, securing a 3-0 win with impressive set scores of 25-10, 25-14, and 25-06, showcasing their depth and power on the court.
The defending champions, Zamalek of Egypt, also impressed in Pool B, overpowering Kenya Prisons 3-0.
The Egyptian side claimed victory with set scores of 25-23, 25-17, and 25-23, reaffirming their strong position in the tournament.
While the CNS team faced a smaller crowd, their stellar performance on the court made Nigeria proud, highlighting their potential as strong contenders in the tournament.
