Hon. Stanley Obinna Agbai Extol Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu on his development strives in Ozuitem and Bende.

The founder of Stanley Agbai Foundation; Hon.  Stanley Obinna Agbai, an indigene of Ozuitem, in Bende Local Government, Abia State on the weekend, while visiting his country home, has extolled the Deputy Speaker, House of Representative, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu on his numerous projects he is embarking in Bende Local Government, most especially Ozuitem.

After meeting his kinsmen, Hon. Stanley Agbai used the opportunity to inspect some of the ongoing projects in Ozuitem attracted by Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu. He emphasized that Hon. Benjamin’s achievements in Ozuitem are a testament to his commitment to the welfare and development of his constituency. Kalu’s dedication to improving the lives of the people of Bende has yielded tangible results.

He was amazed at the numerous projects attracted by Kalu in Ozuitem, which include:

– The ongoing Construction of 5.5 Kilometers of the Road project on the Agbua-Elugwumba-Uzuakoli road. According to him, this road links Uzuakoli to Agbua Ozuitem, also to Bende and Igbere.

-The Construction of a Solar-Powered Borehole with a Water Treatment Plant in the Agbua Community has ensured access to clean water for the residents, improving their health and well-being.

– The construction of 3 Classroom Blocks with 1 Office in Ozuitem Secondary School. This project has enhanced the learning environment for students in Ozuitem, providing them with modern facilities and resources to support their education.

-Employment of Six Ozuitemites as his legislative aides.

-The ongoing Construction of 2 Kilometers Road in Elu la Agbor, Amaeke Isiegbu. He further explained that this road project will improve the transportation network between Ozuitem and the neighbouring village Umuhu.

-The construction of a Borehole with a reticulated Tank in Isiegbu Ozuitem which has ensured access to clean water for the residents of Isiegbu Ozuitem.

– The ongoing Reconstruction of 3 Classroom Blocks with 2 Offices in Akpukwa Primary School; which after completion, will provide a conducive learning environment for pupils in Akpukwa, and also support their educational development and the renovation of 3 Classroom Blocks with 1 Office in Enemba Primary School.

Stanley further explained that Kalu’s achievements extend beyond infrastructure development in Ozuitem and Bende. He has also made significant contributions to the legislative process, sponsoring over 100 bills and motions in the National Assembly. His commitment to the welfare of his constituents is evident in his role as the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, where he has continued to advocate for the interests of the Bende Federal Constituency.

Stanley commented on the recent Twitter rants by an individual, who went to a stream in Ozuitem and took some pictures which he attached to Kalu as the only water source, in order to discredit Kalu’s achievement. Stanley emphasized that the post was sponsored by “jobless political irritants” who are gradually fading away politically in the state, and who felt threatened by Kalu’s rising profile both nationally and internationally. Let me set the record straight, Rt. Hon. Benjamin is a native of Bende, in Bende local government, a neighbouring village in Ozuitem. If not for cheap political score, the Twitter propagandist wouldn’t attribute a stream in Ozuitem to Kalu, who is a native of Bende, despite all the verifiable water projects attracted by Kalu in Ozuitem. He said that the good people of Ozuitem hold Kalu in high esteem and not part of any attack on his personal, despite all the ongoing projects currently attracted by Kalu.

Looking at the past record of all the people who have represented Bende Federal constituency since 1999 till date, which can be verifiable, Kalu was the only person who has awoken the political consciousness of his people in regard to that office. He has demonstrated that a house of representatives can actually be useful infrastructurally in his constituency, compared like before when the people-centred the developmental projects on the State government or Presidency.

Despite the opposition he faces, Kalu remains focused on delivering on his campaign promises. His dedication to the people of Bende is unwavering, and his achievements are a testament to his hard work and commitment.

Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu’s achievements in Bende, Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, are a clear indication of his dedication to the welfare and development of his constituents.
