On Tuesday morning, March 11, Ukraine reported shooting down a Russian Iskander-M ballistic missile and 79 drones, with another 35 drones failing to reach their targets, likely due to electronic warfare measures. Russian forces launched an attack on Ukraine, firing a ballistic missile and 126 drones, causing a fuel storage facility to catch fire and injuring at least two people in various parts of the country.
In southern Odesa, the attack ignited a fuel storage facility, a private home, and a children’s toy storage site, with over 100 people working to manage the damage. In northeastern Kharkiv, a drone strike injured one person and damaged agricultural storage. The air force did not provide details on the 12 drones that were not shot down.
This attack occurred on the same day Ukrainian officials were scheduled to meet with US representatives in Saudi Arabia to discuss ways to end the war with Russia. Additionally, Russian authorities claimed Ukraine launched its largest drone assault on Moscow, with hundreds of drones reportedly downed across Russia.
