Nasarawa United Players Get ₦3.3m Reward For Win Against Plateau United

Nasarawa United players have been rewarded with ₦3.5 million for their hard-fought Matchday 33 victory against Plateau United.

The cash gift was presented by Governor Abdullahi Sule and the state’s Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Kwanta Yakubu, after the thrilling 3-2 win on Sunday. The announcement was made in a statement by the club’s Director of Media, Eche Amos.

Governor Sule commended the team for their impressive performance and discipline during the match, promising further incentives for future victories.

Anas Yusuf and Ugochukwu Leonard were on target in the match, which lifted Nasarawa United to 14th place on the league table with 42 points from 33 games.

The Solid Miners will face Bendel Insurance in their next league fixture on Saturday.
