Gunmen Attack Senator Natasha’s Family Home In Kogi

Unknown assailants armed with cutlasses and firearms reportedly attacked the family residence of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan in the Obeiba-Ihima area of Okehi Local Government Area, Kogi State.

Security sources told analyst Zagazola Makama that the Senator’s Chief Security Officer, Yakubu Ovanja, reported the incident, which occurred around 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.

At least three armed men were said to have stormed the property, vandalizing it and smashing several windows. A response team from the Okehi Police Division arrived quickly after a distress call was made.

Although no injuries or arrests have been reported, the scene was documented, and an investigation is now underway. The motive behind the attack remains unclear.

As of the time of this report, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan has not released an official statement.
