Drug Case Against Actor Paul Rodriguez Dropped Over Lack Of Evidence

Actor Paul Rodriguez drug possession case rejected due to insufficient evidence

Paul Rodriguez will not face charges after his recent arrest for drug possession, as the city of Burbank has decided not to pursue the case due to lack of evidence.

Rodriguez was taken into custody in late March when police allegedly found drugs during a traffic stop. He maintained his innocence, explaining that he was asleep in the passenger seat when officers woke him. The driver, a friend of his, admitted the drugs were hers. Despite this, Rodriguez said he was still arrested roughly.

In response to his claims of mistreatment, police stated that Rodriguez didn’t raise any concerns when speaking to the watch commander before his release.

His attorney, Bobby Samini, welcomed the dismissal, insisting Rodriguez never had any drugs in his possession. He also thanked those who supported Rodriguez throughout the incident.
