Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has reaffirmed his commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy and ensuring good governance for the people of the state.
In his Easter message titled “Renewed by the Resurrection: Advancing Peace, Unity, and Good Governance”, Governor Fubara emphasized the importance of the season as a time for reconciliation, unity, and hope.
“As we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, I extend warm Easter greetings to all,” the governor stated in a message personally signed and released from Port Harcourt on Saturday.
“Easter is a sacred season—a time for healing, for restoring broken relationships, for comforting the afflicted, feeding the hungry, and mending hearts. It reminds us that peace can overcome conflict, and even broken dreams can be restored through the power of the resurrection.”
He continued, “This season renews our confidence that nothing—no hardship, adversity, or even death—can separate us from the love of God. In Him, we remain victorious.”
Governor Fubara further pledged his continued dedication to the people of Rivers State, promising to uphold the principles of transparency, peace, and progress.
He also encouraged residents to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, urging unity in pursuit of national transformation.
“Let us remain united in purpose and faith. Together, under God, we can build the Rivers State and Nigeria of our dreams. May the Risen Christ bless every home with peace, love, good health, and renewed strength.”
Happy Easter to you all.
