Vice Admiral Ibok-Ette Ibas, the Sole Administrator of Rivers State, attended today’s National Economic Council (NEC) meeting, which was chaired by Vice President Kashim Shettima at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Also present was the newly-defected Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, along with other governors, including Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia of Benue, Abdulrahman Abdulrazak of Kwara, Monday Okpebholo of Edo, and Bassey Otu of Cross River. Several deputy governors were also in attendance.
The NEC meeting, led by the Vice President, focused on key national issues, with members discussing topics impacting the country’s economic and political future.
