Former Manager Fires Back: Denies Diverting $345,000, Accuses Mercy Chinwo of Manipulation

Mercy Chinwo’s former manager has publicly denied allegations of diverting $345,000, claiming the gospel artist is unfairly attempting to claim ownership of a catalog he allegedly fully funded.

In a series of social media posts, the manager revealed he had already sent $625,000 to Chinwo, despite her accusations of mistreatment. He explained their 50/50 earnings agreement granted him entitlement to royalties and remittances yet accused Chinwo of leveraging law enforcement and religious ties to distort the narrative.

The manager detailed his contributions to Chinwo’s career, citing financial support, housing arrangements, and years of investment in her platform. He also recounted a legal ordeal involving the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), where he claimed to have been extorted while detained for nine days.

In closing, he challenged Chinwo to share her bank statements, and any songs recorded three years before her signing to clarify the dispute.

“You’ve received $625,000 to date, and now you’re trying to claim ownership of a catalog I fully funded,” the manager asserted.
