The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has expressed sadness over the demise of its Ogun State Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC, Mr Olaniyi Ijalaye.
Adaozublog reported yesterday that Ijalaye died on Monday after attending the regular quarterly meeting of the commission in Abuja.
In a statement by the commission’s National Commissioner and Chairman of the Information and Voter Education Committee, Mr Sam Olumekun in Abuja on Tuesday, INEC commiserated with the immediate family of the deceased, praying to God to grant him eternal rest.
