“Deportation Flights Have Begun” — Trump Administration Announces as Illegal Immigrants Are Sent Back

The Trump administration has commenced deporting illegal immigrants using military aircraft, just four days into Donald Trump’s tenure as the 47th President of the United States.

Karoline Leavitt, White House press secretary, shared images on the social platform X, showing detainees in handcuffs boarding military planes. Alongside the photos, Leavitt stated:

“Deportation flights have begun. President Trump is sending a strong and clear message to the entire world: if you illegally enter the United States of America, you will face severe consequences.”

This policy follows an executive order signed by President Trump earlier this week, authorizing the use of military planes for deportation efforts.

In an interview with journalist Chris Cuomo on Friday, U.S. border czar Tom Homan disclosed that 1,300 individuals had been arrested since the new administration’s crackdown began.

“We’ve arrested 1,300 people, over a thousand of them are criminals,” Homan explained. “The other ones are either fugitives who’ve been through immigration court, that became a fugitive, or collaterals.”

The move aligns with Mr. Trump’s campaign promise to carry out the largest deportation of illegal immigrants in U.S. history. Critics and supporters alike are watching closely as the administration delivers on this controversial pledge.
