“Put Yourself First”: DANG Founder Ifedayo Agoro Slams 2Baba Amid Divorce Drama with Annie Idibia

Ifedayo Agoro, founder of DANG, has criticized Nigerian musician Tuface Idibia (2Baba) over his public announcement about his separation from his wife, Annie Macaulay-Idibia.

On his official Instagram account, Tuface revealed that the couple had been separated for a while and were heading for divorce, referring to Annie by her maiden name in the post. Although the announcement was later deleted, followed by claims that his account was hacked, Tuface released videos insisting the post was authentic and not the result of hacking.

The news came as a shock to fans, especially since the couple recently celebrated 13 years of marriage and 25 years of friendship. It also sparked outrage, with Ifedayo Agoro being one of the most vocal critics.

In a fiery reaction, Agoro called out Tuface for adding to Annie’s public scrutiny, especially following criticism of her appearance on Young, Famous, and African. She advised women to prioritize their well-being in relationships, warning against losing themselves for the sake of men.

“First, they groom you, then you lose yourself, and then they dump you,” Agoro wrote. “I’m so angry! This is disgusting behavior from this man. In a time when this woman is being bashed, you chose to do this? Knowing you’ve humiliated her publicly since I was 18? Why now? Why heap more fire on her reputation? Never, ever choose a man over yourself. No one is indispensable!”

The divorce announcement has left fans stunned and divided, raising conversations about love, loyalty, and public respect in relationships.
