In the wake of singer 2Face Idibia’s announcement of his divorce from wife Annie, media personality Toke Makinwa stirred controversy with a post on Instagram. Makinwa described the announcement as “unfair” and expressed support for Annie, vowing, “We will fight for her.”
However, VeryDarkMan wasn’t having it. In a heated response on social media, he warned Makinwa and other women speaking out against 2Face, asserting that any harm to the singer would result in serious consequences. “It seems all the Nigerian women have had a meeting to throw hate on 2Face,” he said. “First thing first, if anything happens to 2Face, we go pick all of una, especially Toke Makinwa. Make nothing touch 2Face ooo. Yes, because all I see here is double standards.”
The comment quickly went viral, adding more fuel to the ongoing drama surrounding the celebrity couple.
