A Pakistani man has touched hearts worldwide by supporting his mother’s journey to love again after 18 years of single life.
Abdul Ahad, a devoted son, shared an emotional video on Instagram documenting his mother’s wedding, capturing heartfelt moments between them and the joyous nikah (marriage ceremony).
“For the past 18 years, I tried my best to give her a special life according to my worth, as she sacrificed her whole life for us,” Ahad narrated. “But eventually, she deserved her own peaceful life, so as a son, I think I did the right thing. I supported my mom to take a second chance at love and life.”
The video resonated with many, showing glimpses of their deep bond, pre-wedding conversations, and the vibrant celebration filled with love and blessings.
Given the conservative nature of his culture, Ahad admitted he hesitated to share his mother’s story publicly. However, the overwhelming support encouraged him to open up.
“It took me days to share the news of my mother’s marriage due to hesitation,” he wrote in a follow-up post, “but the love and support you all showed is truly overwhelming. I told Amma how you people appreciated and respected our decision, and we are both grateful.”
His story has since inspired many, proving that love, in all its forms, deserves to be celebrated.
