A new documentary, currently in production at Dumfries House, will focus on the environmental message outlined in King Charles’ book Harmony: A New Way of Looking At Our World. The film will highlight the King’s call for a “dramatic revolution” in how humanity approaches the natural world. This marks a significant shift for the Royal Family, who typically collaborate with British networks, with the exception of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The King expressed his excitement about reaching a global audience with the Harmony concept, noting how many of the ideas from his book, published 15 years ago, have been implemented worldwide. He views the documentary as a way to “show, not tell” the transformative power of these ideas. Dumfries House, which serves as a “living laboratory,” will be a central part of the project’s vision.
Filming has already begun for the Amazon Prime production, which aims to showcase King Charles’ environmental philosophy more than any previous documentary. The Royal Family is believed to have discussed options with multiple streaming platforms before settling on Amazon.
