Superstar footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has boldly claimed he is the “most complete player ever” in football history.
In a recent interview with journalist Edu Aguirre from El Chiringuito, the Portuguese legend was asked if he considers himself the greatest footballer of all time. While acknowledging that fans may favor Lionel Messi, Diego Maradona, or Pelé, Ronaldo insisted that no player matches his all-around ability.
“I think I’m the most complete football player that has ever existed. People could like Messi, Maradona, or Pelé, and I respect it, but I’m the most complete. I’m the best player in football history. I haven’t seen anyone better than me in football history, and I’m saying the truth from my heart,” Ronaldo stated.
Currently playing for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, Ronaldo boasts an illustrious career with five Ballon d’Or titles and numerous league and international trophies, including the Champions League, Premier League, La Liga, and Serie A.
Despite his extensive list of accolades, the FIFA World Cup remains the only major trophy missing from his collection. However, he led Portugal to victory in Euro 2016 and the 2019 Nations League, cementing his legacy as one of football’s all-time greats.
