The 2025 Australia’s film and TV awards- AACTA, held last night Friday 7th February at the Surfer’s Paradise on the Gold Coast.
The biggest local names in film and TV attended the 2025 AACTA Awards red carpet.
The Award night was host by Australian movie icon, Russell Crow with a performance from Robbie Williams.
Other notable stars in attendance include Henry Cavill, power couple Emma McKeon and Cody Simpson, Robbie Williams, Guy Pearce etc.
Robbie Williams biopic, Better Man won four awards, including Best Direction in Film for Gracey and Best Lead Actor in Film for Jonno Davis. The film had already five awards at the Industry Gala earlier in the week, taking their total 2025 AACTA Awards to nine.
In the television categories, Netflix series Boy Swallows Universe dominated, picking up six awards in addition to the six they had already won at the Industry Gala — bringing their total to 12.
