APC Backs Tinubu’s Leadership, President Pledges Stronger Economic Reforms

The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday passed a vote of confidence on President Bola Tinubu, praising his administration’s performance and commitment to national development.

Speaking at the APC National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting, Tinubu reaffirmed his dedication to Nigeria’s economic recovery, emphasizing improvements in food security, investment, and stability. He welcomed the party’s endorsement, calling it a challenge to work harder for the country’s progress.

“I am happy with your vote of confidence, and I accept it. The vote is a challenge to do more work; we will vigorously pursue our sovereignty in food security, investment, and development,” Tinubu stated, highlighting the gradual return to economic stability and declining food prices.

The President expressed gratitude to Nigerians for their trust in the APC and praised the party’s governors, executives, and National Assembly members for their commitment to governance. Senate President Godswill Akpabio and House Speaker Tajudeen Abbas pledged legislative support for policies aimed at national growth and economic improvement.

APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, acknowledged the challenges faced by the ruling party but assured members that the APC remains committed to delivering on its promises. Tinubu also directed the formation of committees to address internal party disputes in various states.
