Helen Loveth Alo, the woman who falsely testified at Evangelist Ebuka Obi’s Zion Ministry, claiming she owned a N500 million mansion, has now explained why she lied.

A viral video showing Alo selling drinks in a small shop exposed the discrepancy in her testimony, prompting Evangelist Ebuka Obi to publicly distance himself from her and state that she would be arrested. It appears that the Enugu-based woman has now been apprehended, with a video showing her being questioned about the false claim.

During questioning, Alo explained that she made the false testimony as an “act of faith” because she was in the process of purchasing the property. She said, “I did not build the house. We’re in the process of buying it. I have checked it, and the agent said that we should go to meet the landlord.” When asked if the house was hers, she clarified, “It’s not mine now… I don’t own anyone.”
