Former Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Shehu Sani, has shed light on why suspended Kogi Central Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan stood alone in her battle against the leadership of the 10th Senate.
In a post on his verified Facebook page, Senator Sani explained why no other senator voiced support for Akpoti-Uduaghan. He shared: “When I publicly disclosed the salaries and allowances of the senators, it nearly earned me a six-month suspension if not for divine intervention. Just know that if you are there and you blow the whistle too loudly, you will be ‘on your own’—no senator will risk his head and neck to support you.”
