Ter Stegen Responds To Rumors About Wife’s Alleged Infidelity

Barcelona goalkeeper, Marc-Andre ter Stegen breaks silence on wife

Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has addressed rumors suggesting that his ex-wife, Daniela Jehle, cheated on him with her personal trainer. The couple, who recently announced their separation after eight years of marriage, faced allegations that Dani had been unfaithful.

Ter Stegen has strongly denied these claims, calling them “false news” and accusing the journalists involved of being “liars.” He issued a statement in which he said:

“Dear all,
I am shocked and disappointed by the poor management and lack of leadership at Catalunya Radio & 3Cat Group, who have spread false news and violated personal rights. Journalists Juliana Canet, Roger Carandell, and Marta Montaner have falsely accused my wife, Daniela, and damaged her reputation in a very hurtful way. There has been no infidelity. No third party involved. This is a fact.
As previously stated, Dani and I have decided to part ways amicably, with ongoing, respectful communication. It is completely unacceptable that government-owned media are spreading these false accusations, causing personal attacks on Daniela. The damage is irreparable.
Thank you,
Marc.”

Ter Stegen and Jehle married on May 15, 2017, in a small ceremony near Barcelona and later held a church wedding in Tuscany. They have two children together.

Ter Stegen is currently recovering from a knee injury he sustained in a match against Villarreal in September, where he ruptured the patellar tendon in his right knee.
