Singer, Darlington Okoye, who has been in police detention since November 27, when he was re-arrested by the Nigerian police in Owerri, Imo State for allegedly jumping bail has been granted bail by an Abuja court.
Darlington was arrested in October following a petition written against him by his colleague Burna Boy, He was granted bail and was expected to return for further questioning but he failed to do so. He was arrested again on
November 27 and has been in detention ever since.
His lawyer, Stan Alieke, in an update shared in social media this morning, disclosed that a court has granted him bail.
