Activist Aisha Yesufu has weighed in on the ongoing conflict between the Rivers State House of Assembly, which is loyal to FCT Minister, and the state governor, Sim Fubara, who is a former protege of Nyesom Wike.
The feud between Wike and Fubara has escalated since Fubara became governor, and on Monday, March 17, reports indicated that the House of Representatives had begun impeachment proceedings against Fubara.
Reacting to the situation, Yesufu expressed that she wished she could ask Fubara to step down for two weeks so she could govern Rivers State herself. She said she would show that no one has the monopoly on bad behavior.
“Kai! This kind fight I for like buy ooooo! I for ask Fubara to step aside for the next two weeks, make I be Governor of Rivers State! We go kukuma know say nobody has monopoly of anyhowness! E pain me!” she wrote.
