Amaechi: Fubara, Wike’s Dispute is Over Money Sharing

              Amaechi

Former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, has stated that the ongoing dispute between the suspended governor of Rivers, Siminalayi Fubara, and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, revolves around money sharing.

Amaechi made this assertion during an interview with DW on Saturday.

He also described the emergency ruling imposed on Rivers State by President Bola Tinubu as unconstitutional.

“The conflict between the current governor of Rivers State and the FCT minister is about money sharing. If not, what is the issue? Nigerians no longer oppose corruption. I haven’t seen anyone on the streets questioning what the problem is. Can both of them speak to the public and explain what this is really about?” Amaechi said.
