Popular Nigerian musician Ahmed Ololade, widely known as ‘Asake’ has resolved his differences with his father, Fatai Odunsi, after a public rift.
Odunsi had previously accused the artist of neglecting him following a stroke he suffered in 2022. However, in a recent video, he disclosed that Asake has reached out and assured him of financial and emotional support.
“His mother ought to ask him when last he saw me. That was what got me angry, but we have sorted all the problems. We are no longer fighting,” Odunsi stated.
He further revealed that Asake has committed to buying him a new home and covering his medical expenses.
Expressing pride in his son, Odunsi confirmed that all issues have been resolved. “Asake said he will do everything that I want. We have settled, no more problems. They are now looking for a new house that he will buy for me. He has settled everything,” he said.
Additionally, the singer has pledged to take full responsibility for his 11-year-old daughter, Zeenat.
“He has never denied his child, but he has now promised to take full responsibility for the child,” Odunsi added.
He acknowledged receiving financial support from Asake for his treatment and mentioned that he will be seeing a doctor shortly.
