Liverpool Clinch Premier League Title With 5-1 Victory Over Tottenham

Liverpool secured the Premier League title in style with a dominant 5-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield on Sunday.

The game saw Tottenham take an early lead with Dominic Solanke’s 12th-minute goal, assisted by James Maddison. However, Liverpool responded quickly, leveling the score just four minutes later as Luis Díaz netted in the 16th minute, following a pass from Dominik Szoboszlai.

Liverpool took control of the match, with Alexis Mac Allister giving them a 2-1 lead in the 24th minute, courtesy of Ryan Gravenberch’s assist. Cody Gakpo added a third in the 34th minute, just before receiving a yellow card.

At halftime, Liverpool led 3-1 and showed no signs of letting up. In the 63rd minute, Mohamed Salah scored to extend the lead to 4-1, with Szoboszlai once again providing the assist.

The victory was sealed when Tottenham’s Destiny Udogie scored an own goal in the 69th minute, making it 5-1 to Liverpool. The match also saw yellow cards for Harvey Elliott and Tottenham’s Richarlison in added time.

With this win, Liverpool have officially clinched the Premier League title.
