Camavinga Injured, Out For The Season

          Angola

Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga has been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering a groin injury, the club confirmed on Thursday.

The French international sustained the injury during Madrid’s 1-0 win over Getafe on Wednesday in La Liga. Medical tests revealed a complete rupture of the left adductor tendon.

As a result, the 22-year-old will miss Saturday’s Copa del Rey final against Barcelona, as well as Madrid’s remaining five league fixtures as they chase the title.

Spanish media also reports that Camavinga may be sidelined for up to three months, putting his participation in the upcoming Club World Cup in the U.S. at risk.

Despite a challenging season, Camavinga was a key figure in Madrid’s La Liga and Champions League successes last year.
