“Diddy Accuses Feds of Spying in Jail Amid Explosive New Allegations”

Attorneys for embattled rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs allege that federal investigators disguised themselves as prison guards to search his jail cell in an effort to gather new evidence against him. The allegations surfaced in a legal filing, which claims the search—directed by officials from the Southern District of New York—was illegal and included the seizure of privileged attorney-client notes.

According to the filing obtained by DailyMail.com, the search aimed to gather evidence for prosecution rather than to address jail security concerns. Diddy’s legal team further claims that an investigator, described as “an agent of the prosecution team,” monitored the rapper’s calls with his attorneys and shared those recordings with prosecutors.

“Mr. Combs has never received a write-up during his four months in custody, despite repeated government claims about his alleged obstruction,” the filing states. His attorneys maintain that the government is violating his rights and spying on his defense team.

These claims come as Diddy faces mounting scrutiny. Next week, Investigation Discovery will release a bombshell docuseries, The Fall of Diddy, featuring explosive allegations, including a chilling account from former Vibe editor-in-chief Danyel Smith.

Smith alleges that Diddy once threatened her life when she refused to show him a preview of a magazine cover he appeared on. “He said he’d see me dead in a trunk if I didn’t show it to him,” Smith recounts in the series. She claims he later apologized only after she threatened to involve law enforcement, though his earlier intimidation included showing up at the Vibe offices with two men searching for her.

While Smith continued working with Diddy in subsequent years, she now regrets maintaining a professional relationship with him, saying, “It’s very hard not to feel complicit—I wish that things were different.”

Diddy’s legal team has criticized the docuseries and similar productions, accusing them of capitalizing on his September arrest to fuel public fascination.

Diddy remains in a Brooklyn detention center after pleading not guilty to multiple sex trafficking charges. New alleged victims have continued to come forward, adding to the growing list of accusations against him.

As his legal battles intensify, these fresh allegations and the upcoming documentary are expected to keep the public spotlight firmly on the rapper’s controversial past.
