President Bola Tinubu is hosting his first Eid-El-Fitr homage at the Presidential Banquet Hall, State House, Abuja. The event began at 12:16 pm on Sunday with the President’s arrival.
Among the guests in attendance are lawmakers representing the Federal Capital Territory in the National Assembly, chairpersons of the FCT area councils, traditional rulers, leaders from both the Christian and Muslim communities, senior judicial officers, and others.
Opening prayers were offered by Dr. Timothy Amazon, Chairman of the FCT Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, and Prof. SAS Galadanci, Murshid of the National Mosque.
As per the event’s schedule, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, who is leading the delegation, will deliver the opening remarks. Following this, the guests will present cards to the President.
Seated at the event are Vice President Kashim Shettima, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, and the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris.
