Ford Recalls 105,000 Suvs Over Seat Belt Issue

          Ford recalls over 105,000 SUVs

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced on Thursday that around 105,322 SUVs are being recalled due to potential seat belt issues. The recall affects Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator vehicles from the 2018 to 2020 model years.

The issue involves the seat belt pretensioners for drivers and/or front passengers, which may mistakenly lock. This malfunction could prevent the seat belt from retracting or extending properly, creating a safety risk in the event of a crash.

Ford dealerships will inspect the seat belt retractor date codes and replace any faulty parts free of charge for vehicle owners.
