A Dubai-based Ghanaian man, Nicholas Mbir, made headlines after marrying three wives on the same day: Angelina Prah, Grace Agyarko, and Esther Abass. The grand celebration took place on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Sakoro Park near the Salvation Divine Miracle Church in Winneba, Effutu Municipal District, Central Region of South Ghana.

The engagement ceremonies were held separately from Wednesday, April 23 to Friday, April 26. Abeku Adams Ekumfi, who shared photos from the event, claimed that the “myth Christianity forced on us is broken by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

According to Abeku, Mbir is a choirmaster, and all three of his wives belong to the same choir. He also noted that Mbir is now the Regional President of the Brotherhood of Iron and Gold (BIG) for the West African Sub-region.

“By God’s grace, Mr. Mbir married three wives this week in Winneba,” Abeku wrote. “One on Wednesday, another on Thursday, and the last on Friday. On Saturday, there was a grand celebration for all three wives. EQUITY PREVAILED. The myth Christianity imposed on us is broken by the Power of the Holy Spirit.”

Abeku further emphasized that this was a remarkable moment, celebrating what he described as “greatness.”
