Afrobeats superstar David Adedeji Adeleke, Popularly known as ‘Davido’ has announced a personal transformation, declaring his intent to remain faithful and focus on family values.
Speaking during an appearance on The Breakfast Club podcast, the award-winning artist shared that he’s embracing a new chapter of his life centered around loyalty and stability. Davido attributed his resolve to previous experiences with multiple relationships, which led to fathering five children with four different women.
“I’m not cheating again. I don’t want wahala, I have five kids with four women. I’d rather go and live how my other guys are living. Maybe because I’ve had bad experiences. Sometimes experience is the best teacher,” he said.
He also opened up about the emotional impact of losing his son, Ifeanyi, in 2022. Davido revealed that he and his partner recently welcomed twins a boy and a girl and he finds strong similarities between the newborn boy and his late son.
“We’ve got twins now, a boy and a girl. The boy looks exactly like my son who passed. They act the same. Everything he used to do, he does,” he added.
