The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the 2025 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), which took place on Thursday, April 10.
In a statement on Sunday, JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin announced that candidates can check their results by texting “MOCKRESULT” to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number they used for registration.
JAMB explained that the mock exam is optional and designed to test new systems and give candidates a feel for the computer-based format of the main UTME.
Out of the 200,113 registered candidates, 73,844 were absent and 88 couldn’t take the exam due to biometric verification issues. As a result, 126,181 candidates sat for the exam, and results for 115,735 of them are now available. The remaining 10,446 results are still being processed and will be released shortly.
The board acknowledged some technical hitches during the exam, which were linked to the new features being tested, and apologized for the inconvenience.
JAMB urged candidates to remain patient and supportive, noting that the mock exam plays an important role in improving the overall UTME experience and helping students prepare effectively.
