Jessica Alba has officially filed for divorce from her husband, Cash Warren, after nearly 17 years of marriage.
The 43-year-old actress submitted the filing in Los Angeles County court on Friday, Feb. 7, citing irreconcilable differences. According to court documents, their date of separation was listed as Dec. 27, 2024.
Alba and Warren, 46, tied the knot on May 19, 2008, and share three children: Honor, 16, Haven, 13, and Hayes, 7. The actress has requested joint custody and asked to restore her legal name to Jessica Marie Alba.
Following reports of their split, Alba addressed the separation on Instagram on Jan. 16, expressing gratitude for their time together.
“I’ve been on a journey of self-realization and transformation for years—both as an individual and in partnership with Cash,” she shared. “I’m proud of how we’ve grown as a couple and in our marriage over the last 20 years. It’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals.”
The Honest Company co-founder reassured fans that their separation was amicable. “We are moving forward with love, kindness, and respect for each other and will forever be family. Our children remain our highest priority, and we request privacy at this time.”
Despite their split, Alba and Warren remain committed to co-parenting and maintaining a positive relationship.
