Kenya Airways Open To Partnerships With Nigerian Airlines

Kenya Airways, the national airline of Kenya, has announced its willingness to collaborate with Nigerian airlines to enhance travel options for passengers both within Nigeria and internationally. The airline highlighted that Nigeria remains a key market, with a significant portion of its frequent fliers coming from the country.

The airline also revealed a 21% increase in capacity, attributed to the rise in its flight frequency between Lagos and Nairobi, which will go from seven to ten flights per week in 2024. Kenya Airways Regional Manager for America and West Africa, Ngamau Stephen, shared that passenger numbers grew by 10,000 between 2023 and 2024, prompting the decision to boost operations in Nigeria.

As part of its efforts to promote tourism and leisure travel, Kenya Airways is introducing attractive stopover packages in Nairobi. These packages aim to offer passengers the chance to explore Kenya’s vibrant culture, wildlife, and scenic landscapes during their transit, enhancing their overall travel experience.
