King Charles III will require ongoing cancer treatment in 2025, according to a Buckingham Palace source. However, the 76-year-old monarch’s health is reportedly being “managed” and is “moving in a positive direction.”
Despite his treatment, King Charles intends to resume a full schedule of public duties next year, including overseas visits, the source confirmed.
On Thursday, His Majesty hosted a pre-Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace for members of the Royal Family. He has also ramped up his engagements in recent weeks, including a visit to Apple’s London headquarters, where he met CEO Tim Cook.
“You could almost forget that, at the start of the year, this was a man facing the shock of a cancer diagnosis,” a source told Sky News.
