A building under construction on Oriwu Street in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos State, has collapsed, trapping several individuals under the rubble.
Lagos State Police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident, which occurred around 4 PM on Wednesday. He stated that 14 people have been rescued and taken to Lagos Island General Hospital for treatment.
Rescue operations are ongoing, with police and emergency responders working at the scene to ensure security and locate any remaining victims.
