Liverpool’s talisman, Mohamed Salah, has climbed to seventh place on the Premier League’s all-time goalscoring list after netting in his side’s 4-1 victory over Ipswich Town at Anfield on Saturday, January 25.
Salah’s 35th-minute strike marked his 176th Premier League goal, moving him past Arsenal legend Thierry Henry (175). The 32-year-old forward now sits just one goal behind Chelsea icon Frank Lampard (177) in the historical rankings.
The Egyptian star has been in scintillating form this season, playing a pivotal role for Arne Slot’s league-leading Liverpool side. Salah has also contributed 13 assists and is two goals ahead of Erling Haaland and Alexander Isak in the race for the Golden Boot.
Liverpool’s win over Ipswich solidified their six-point lead over second-placed Arsenal, keeping their title hopes firmly on track.
Salah’s achievement also places him as the second-highest-scoring overseas player in Premier League history, trailing only Sergio Agüero (184).
The all-time leaderboard remains topped by Alan Shearer, whose 260 goals continue to set the benchmark in the competition.
