Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for dismissing the recall petition filed against her.
In a statement released today, INEC explained that “the petition for the recall of the Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District has not met the constitutional requirements. As such, no further action will be taken on the matter.”
In an Instagram post this evening, Senator Natasha expressed her appreciation to INEC for “doing well.” She also thanked her husband, the people of Kogi Central, and Nigerians for their continued support.
