The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has reduced the price of premium motor spirit at its filling stations in Abuja. Reports indicate that the price has been adjusted from N950 to N935 per litre as of Saturday.
Motorists in the Federal Capital Territory confirmed the price change. Abdullahi Hashim, a resident of Kubwa, described the reduction as a welcome development, noting that he observed the new price on Saturday morning. Similarly, Bukola Adewole mentioned spotting the adjustment earlier on Friday at a station in Wuse Zone 4, with the Kubwa Expressway outlet reflecting the change later.
This development follows an announcement by Dangote Refinery, which recently reduced its ex-depot petrol price from N865 to N835 per litre.
