NPFL: Bosso Determined to Steer Bayelsa United Away from Relegation

Bayelsa United technical adviser, Ladan Bosso, has reaffirmed his commitment to keeping the club in the NPFL amid relegation concerns.

The Prosperity Boys currently sit 16th on the table with 34 points. Despite pressure from some supporters questioning his coaching approach, Bosso remains focused on fulfilling the mandate given by the Bayelsa State Government.

“Wherever you find yourself, you need to make a difference,” Bosso told Complete Sports.

He highlighted his belief in young players, noting that seven of those who featured against Heartland were making their NPFL debut. He expressed confidence that, with time, Bayelsa United could compete for a continental ticket.

“For now, we need patience with these boys. Pressure is part of the job, but it’s coming from a section of noisy fans who want to take over the team. However, I won’t compromise the state government’s interests—they’ve made it clear we must perform and avoid relegation.”
