Crystal Palace booked their spot in the FA Cup final for the first time in nine years with a commanding 3-0 victory over Aston Villa at Wembley on Saturday.
Eberechi Eze opened the scoring with a stunning long-range strike, before Ismaila Sarr added two more goals in the second half to seal the win for Oliver Glasner’s side.
Palace will now face either Manchester City or Nottingham Forest in the final on May 17.
The Eagles are still chasing their first-ever FA Cup title, having previously lost in the finals of 1990 and 2016, both against Manchester United.
Villa, last crowned FA Cup champions in 1957, were aiming for their first final appearance since 2015 but delivered a disappointing performance. They’ll now turn their focus to securing a top-five Premier League finish and Champions League qualification.
