On Friday, March 7, the Lagos State Police successfully rescued three Nigerians—Umezulike Joseph, Eze Theodorah, and Rosemary Ogwulu—who were kidnapped along the Lekki-Epe Expressway. The victims had visited the area to inspect a piece of land they planned to purchase. As they were about to enter their car, five armed men confronted them and took them away.
Upon receiving an alert, the police acted swiftly and traced the suspects to a hideout near the forested area along the expressway. The kidnappers fled, leaving the victims behind. Fortunately, the victims have now been safely reunited with their families.
