Rapper Mellow Rackz is under investigation by police following an alleged altercation with her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend at a hotel in West Hollywood. Authorities report that the incident occurred early Monday morning, during which Rackz allegedly engaged in a physical confrontation and took the woman’s phone.
Sources say Rackz was in town for the Rolling Loud festival when she discovered that her boyfriend had booked rooms for both her and his ex at the same hotel. The two women reportedly crossed paths in the lobby, leading to a confrontation. Rackz is accused of punching the ex-girlfriend in the face, leaving visible red marks.
During the altercation, the woman dropped her phone, which Rackz allegedly took before leaving, reportedly telling the woman, “What are you going to do about it?” Hotel security contacted the police, and officers arrived to speak with the alleged victim. However, Rackz reportedly refused to leave her room, instructing officers to speak to her lawyer instead.
Law enforcement has filed a robbery report, naming Rackz as a suspect. Detectives are continuing their investigation, though no arrests have been made. Efforts to contact Rackz’s representatives for comment have been unsuccessful.
