Controversial Nigerian singer Speed Darlington has alleged that he narrowly escaped a gunshot attack early this morning, January 27, after leaving a club in Victoria Island, Lagos.

The singer shared a video on social media showing his car with visible damage. He explained that he and his driver heard gunshots, and upon inspection, they discovered bullet dents on the vehicle.

In the video, Speed Darlington referenced his ongoing feud with fellow artist Burna Boy, implying the attack might be linked to their conflict. “I haven’t said anything yet, and people are already sending assassins my way. There must be truth in what I’m saying,” he remarked.

In a comment on the post, Speed Darlington added: “Bro, is this necessary? You try to take my life… really?”
