Another bridge has been rendered impassable in Taraba State due to erosion.
The bridge which is located in Mayo-Kam village of Bali local government council of the state was reportedly cut off by erosion following a massive rainfall.
The development cut off vital roads linking several communities including Gembu in Sardauna council, Baisa in Kurmi council and Gashaka local government council.
The disruption poses significant challenges for travelers and transporters who rely solely on the route for access to various parts of the state.
While local authorities and residents are calling on the state government to urgently intervene and restore the bridge to ensure safe and efficient travel in the affected areas, commuters have been urged to seek alternative routes until the situation is resolved.
