Three Family Members Kidnapped In Delta, N30m Ransom Demanded

            Kidnappers abduct three family members in Delta, demand N30m ransom

Police have launched an operation to rescue three family members kidnapped by gunmen in Ukwuani Local Government Area, Delta State.

The victims, including two minors, were taken from their home in Ebedei Ukwuole around 4:00 p.m. on March 14, 2025. Two armed men reportedly stormed the home of Enuma Peace, abducting her two daughters, 14-year-old Chidimma Enuma and 12-year-old Precious Enuma, along with her sister-in-law, 38-year-old Anwuri Okoye.

The following morning, at approximately 7:30 a.m. on March 15, the kidnappers contacted the family using Chidimma’s phone and demanded a ransom of N30 million.

Officers from the Umutu Division visited the scene, and the Anti-Kidnapping Unit has been alerted. A joint security operation, involving vigilantes, Civilian Anti-Cult operatives, hunters, and forest guards, has been launched to track down the suspects and ensure the safe release of the victims.
