             TINUBU

President Bola Tinubu will celebrate his 73rd birthday on Saturday by joining fellow Muslims for a special prayer session at the National Mosque in Abuja on Friday. The event will serve as both a celebration of his life and an opportunity to thank God for guiding him in the challenging role of leading the nation.

This was announced in a statement issued by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, on Thursday. The statement, titled ‘President Tinubu to Mark 73rd Birthday with Special Prayer at the Abuja National Mosque,’ also highlighted that the President’s birthday coincides with the holy month of Ramadan and comes just two months before the second anniversary of his administration.

Onanuga explained that during the prayer session, the President will reflect spiritually and pray for Nigeria’s peace, progress, and prosperity. “The choice of a prayer session underscores President Tinubu’s commitment to the nation’s spiritual and moral well-being, seeking divine guidance, wisdom, and strength in leadership. He believes that collective prayer is a powerful way to guide the country toward unity and progress,” Onanuga said.

President Tinubu also invited Nigerians to join him in spirit, encouraging them to offer prayers at their places of worship or wherever they may be, reinforcing a sense of national unity and shared purpose.

In the statement, the President expressed deep gratitude for the support of Nigerians and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to advancing economic reforms, improving national security, and creating opportunities for all citizens.

“I am truly thankful to Allah for the gift of life and the privilege to serve this great nation. As I mark another year and look forward to our second anniversary, I am filled with Renewed Hope for Nigeria. I urge all citizens to pray for divine guidance, unity, and healing for our land. Together, we will overcome challenges and build a nation where every citizen thrives,” President Tinubu said.

The President reiterated his dedication to consolidating democratic gains, promoting economic recovery, and fostering national unity. He called on citizens to continue believing in Nigeria’s destiny as a symbol of hope for Africa.
