The Zamfara State House of Assembly is in mourning following the death of Hon. Aminu Ibrahim Kasuwar-Daji, who represented the Kaura Namoda South Constituency. He reportedly passed away in his sleep on Wednesday morning, April 9.
His sudden death has left the state in shock, with tributes pouring in from political colleagues and constituents. The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara expressed deep sadness over the loss, remembering Kasuwar-Daji as a dedicated, honest, and God-fearing leader who served his people with unwavering commitment.
In a statement from the party’s Publicity Secretary, Yusuf Idris, the APC State Working Committee, executives, and supporters praised the late lawmaker for his contributions in the state assembly and to the community. The party extended condolences to his family, the people of Kaura Namoda South, and fellow members of the state assembly, praying for his soul to rest in Jannatul Firdaus and for his family to find strength in this difficult time.
Hon. Kasuwar-Daji will be laid to rest later today in his hometown of Kasuwar-Daji in Kaura Namoda Local Government Area.
